everyone deserves fresh produce

Support The GardenWorks Project with your purchases! Proceeds from these sales enable us to offer our programs, services, and materials to our neighbors facing food insecurity.

Food Growers Network Membership

The Food Growers Network is a community of compassionate growers dedicated to making a positive impact. This program inspires home and community gardeners to grow fresh vegetables and donate a portion to local food pantries.

Join today and receive a tote bag, 10 free seeds of your choice, seedling discounts, and member meet-ups throughout the year. Your $25 membership donation supports our efforts to grow a healthier, more food secure community.

Spring Seedling Sale

The GardenWorks Spring Seedling Pre-Sale opens on March 21, with pick-up at our May 17 & 18 in-person sale at the DuPage County Fairgrounds.

We’re proud to partner with Walnut Grove Vocational Farm, a program of DeKalb County Community Gardens, to offer locally-grown vegetable and herb seedlings to our program participants and the public at large. By supporting each other, we build a stronger local food system that centers our community, while also improving equitable access to fresh produce.

The Seedling Sale is a cornerstone of our work. Every seedling purchased plants three for our community, home and partner gardens. Together, we make a difference.

Shop our website beginning March 21 and plan to pickup your free 2024 volunteer t-shirt at the sale on May 17 and 18.
