Community Gardening Tour and Book Discussion

The GardenWorks Project is proud to celebrate the 22 community gardens established since 2017. This event will be located at the Lisle Township Community Garden and both GardenWorks and Lisle Township Gardeners will present the basic fundamentals needed on how to start a community garden, topics related to the community gardening movement nationally, as well as examples and tours of gardens within the region that are growing for good!

In addition, we'll be discussing the book, Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman, an all-ages award-winning piece that tells the story of diversity, resilience, and community discovery through a summer garden in Cleveland. We hope you can join us!
